If those that bashed Califonia left it would be a ****hole. It would become the land of kings and servants. Those that bash California are those that are trying to get ahead with hard work and entrepreneurship but have to fight a tide of regulations and taxes passed by the weathy elites of LA, the Bay and the leeches that benefit from hand outs for there votes. The people bashing Cali are bashing the leadership and their destructive policies not the state. Most people outside of LA and SF don't like the socialist policies being implemented on us so the Democrat leadership can keep their voters dependent on their handouts.

Majority of the people or majority of the D's voters/poppers living on government handouts? Even with this, are the projects distributed as the population or as the D's voters? San Diego county along with the rest excluding LA and BA certainly can count for half of the population, did they get half the money and projects?
As for your equalization of our love for CA with our love for it's government, you already got a good correction. I would only add the striking similarity with the Eastern European communists when they were in power - they were quick to equate country with government, i.e. any political dissident was invariably accused of hating his country.

Did you really go and count the projects in each county then determine how many registered voters in each county are either republican or democrat then draw a factual conclusion that these projects are focused on helping more democrats than republicans.
