    Shinna fished Coronado today, up by the dog park. Surf was pounding pretty good but she managed to catch a couple of these. I believe they are baby leopards. Please let me know if I’m correct.

    Lol!! Completely spaced those! Somehow I thought those were horn sharks...
    Shinna actually caught the two today. All I managed was a tiny surf perch.

    They do have rough skin rather than scales. There were a group of people that gathered and all wanted to take pictures. Had to cut that really short since we wanted to get these lil beauties back in the water and on their way as quickly as possible. They both swam off nicely, no worse for the encounter...

    The big 60”+ Leo’s can give you some pretty gnarly shark rash.. Doesn’t feel too pleasant haha
