Ok so ive heard that seaforth tackle sells live bait, is this true? Making bait from shore can be time consuming and going up to OC only really works out for me if im fishing the lagoon. So do they sell live bait? Anyhow thanks guys and see you on the water!

Stop it with your common sense! If people used the search tool we wouldn't have the pleasure of answering the weekly "how to catch leopard sharks" question ;)

I had before and found some info but nothing specific and that's why I asked.

No worries George, wasn't meaning to poke fun at you, I've just always found it amusing that every week someone asks how to catch leopard sharks even though there are about 100 posts on it, and Paulito set me up perfectly to comment on it.

Lol no need to apologize, and yes there is definitely an excessive number of threads on how do I catch leos. You could have just asked google the question and have gotten a plethora of information.

I would say nothing bigger or smaller than 20lbs. They are great grilled or baked. I made some teriyaki style not to long ago and it was delicious.

Bring a few heavy boat rods or if not ill have something to borrow on Fri at the night time shorepounders. And yes you cut the tail and pull the gills to bleed out. I like to make sure its bleed out very good on my fish so I spike it cut the tail, gills, and make a cut behind both pectoral fins. I know, I know, a bit excessive but im picky.
