Went tonight in bad conditions on a low incoming. Surf was high at short interval, picked a spot with a deep eddy between three rocks. Long casts were necessary just to get to the deeper water, like maybe 80 yards at least.. but I did manage a couple fish in bad conditions, a black perch, a grass rockfish, and a rock wrasse, all small. It was good to get out for a minute, and nice to visit with Fat Spottie for a second too... Fun stuff, the sunset was amazing, with some rays outlining the sky. No keepers for the pan today, but I will take that session in the ugly stuff..

Good stuff...conditions were garbage all day today over here. Skunked in the morning and a small leopard at sunset for me today. Definitely far from ideal on the beaches today, so nice work to get a few sir

Yeah, Easy619 , first spot I picked was absolutely buried in salad, only a bit better the next beach north...

Pretty rough in north county too. Waves are great though. Trade the 10” rod for a 7” board this week!

Bear6813 , I did see a shark in the skinny water yesterday, not a big one, but I did see one...

I was at Tamarack yesterday and was luck enough to get a handful of opals, but none
    of them were a handful.

Nice fish, always cool to see a rockfish from shore.

Seen a few kelp and grass, no browns yet for me though. Next week I will check N jetty for you next week. Need an outgoing tide for that though...
