Fished LJ from about 5:45 to 7:15 looking for some beans along the beach north of whale watching point.

Sand has seriously shifted over the past day, sand has been pulled off the beach and a heavy whomp has returned. Salad is in thick too... Don't think it adds much to the green water from the surf. Ended up fishing the pocket on the north end and produced a single walleye which was thrown back.

Way worse... not a single sign of bean. The walleye was caught on a nail and sand crab though... didn't have the gear to put it to use as bait.. size 10s mosquito was the only thing I had.

Same thing happened up north. Seems like this last south swell reeked some havoc. I hope it's just a short lived adjustment and the surf will lay down soon.

I’ve noticed a big difference in that area between Saturday and today, just walking the coast.

Sunday was the start of it getting turbulent. Any effect on the grunions tonight I wonder ?
