I give up. I need these 3 pieces replicated and have wasted about 7 hours trying to do it. Anyone know a angling carpenter?

turn it upside down and set your jig saw @ the approx angle of the boat side and cut it out. the carpet will fold over the edge and take up any mistakes, it worked on my 3 Valcos

Not using rat fur in it. It is a bait fisherman boat. blood guts and slime don't mix with carpet.

Spideyjig....not being a dick, but based on the multitude of posts about this "project boat"...it appears you are way in over your head. You could have paid someone to do it already...and you'd be fishin' by now.

I knew it was over my head and tried to find someone to do it but recarpeting people do, replacing wood and doing non skid they don't.

I gladly would have paid someone to do it

Fishfoo came by and showed me several things I was doing wrong in patterning that was essentially reintroducing the problems I was trying to fix.

Biggest issue is that somebody half azzed the plywood before and what is in there is not original Lund decking. Rather than tracing what is in there, we have to trace the boat to cut it proper.

Now I got replicated pieces and more woodworking knowledge than I ever had.

Thanks to Fishfoo I now will not make the same mistakes ever again.

    Now back making progress.

    Jim
