A few weeks ago my work schedule changed from 630 to 830am so I decided to use the extra time to get back to shore fishing MB. MB is my go to when I only have a short time because I know I will be able to hook a spotty, or at least get a hit, and feel the tug. So for the last few weeks I've been dragging swimbaits and curtails around on a T-rig and catching 6-12" spotties. Today I decided to switch it up to a drop shot to get my curltail above the grass and I was rewarded with a legal hali. I think I'll be utilizing the drop shot more often

Good job! I need to put in some more time drop-shotting. I try it for a little while but usually go back to the t-rig.

What type of retrieve technique did you use on the DS?
