Hit the water around noon, missed a couple bites trolling the a rig. Made it out to the jetty and ended up getting on a steady bite. Dropshot fluke was the ticket. Sandbass and calicos were stacked pretty good. At some point I lost my paddle. Just a standard black two piece with no markings. Bummer. Hopefully someone on here found it. Called it a day and off the water by 5pm. Sorry no photos this time

Paddle isn't as bad as losing a rod and reel...learned my.lesson on that one. Rods are all leashed now

Yea I know. I have a back up that will be leased from now on. Still need to work on securing the rods. What did you use?

    I use these.
YakGear Paddle or Fishing Rod Leash | YakGear
When they are in the holder behind me they are leashed. I unleash them when I use them. They seem to hold pretty well as I knocked one rod off and it held it. When I'm not using it I just let it lay in the water. Helps me figure out the current.

One thing you can do is toss a spare in the hatch. Had a couple times I gave the spare to a guy who lost one...
