Very close to either or but I’m gonna stick with seniorita. It’s the dot on the fin for me. Too bad his thumb covers the tail in the pic.

went out to try and surf fish south mission beach this morning. Huge tide at 6' but there was very little swell so I thought the conditions would be nice. wrong, the seaweed was back. fished an LC with no luck.

Also there were a million of these little maggots looking things all over the beach that the birds were loving. what are they? mag.jpg

Look like wax worms to me. My son has a leopard gecko. I can tell you this... If fish like them half as much as that lizard does homeboy had a solid session.

Try fishing the glorietta bay sea wall with a 3/4 ounce drop shot, dark sleeper, or keitechs. Me and my homie got on them at sundown/moonrise. We used them on a slow and straight retrieve, got some bites. The first two fish were on a 3/4 ounce drop shot with keitech and a wyze guyz swimbait(you can get all the baits that we used at Dana landing). The 3rd and my friends biggest came in on a 3/8 ounce chartreuse dark sleeper.

Work pretty well for catfish. I have heard of guys using earth worms in SW... Probably work fine

had a productive night at HP after 5pm during the rising tide. SH rig with cut shrimp w/ 1/2 oz bullet weight ( did better than 1oz weight)

caught 9 fish. no keepers. (2) sculpin, (4) croaker of some variety (i think), (1) calico bass, (1) unknown species and (1) unknown species to mr

bad new -- my rod tip snapped off with the first eye when i was trying to pull a fish out from under a rock. 2 week old penn pursuit 3, definitely not my fault

Went out for about 2 hours myself. I was across the way from Projectman. Did alright. Caught a round stingray on a modified blade while feeling around trying to get familiar with the area before Shore Pounders. Switched over to a drop shot setup and caught a decent spotty on cut shrimp. Wanted to stay out a bit longer but the wife was texting. Something big bit the spinner off one of my lures. I fought it for a few seconds but it took off with a souvenir. Weak split rings didn’t help... 448A7F0A-1FFC-4871-B126-3C59A453E921.jpeg 07FB3005-F970-4D44-B289-E67EAAB75CBC.jpeg

I dont think there is a size limit for them, someone correct me if im wrong, but I cant find a reg for them. They are slow growers though, big ones are old like 15-20 years. I usually keep them if they are bigger than my hand. I eat them out of quivira/hospitality but I wouldnt make it a regular thing.
