Wassup sdfish fam, went out friday afternoon/night. Fished from 6-9 pm. Starting off the day, the wind (northwesterlies) was still blowin pretty good until around 7:30. Tried some coves with the wind to my back. Rig of choice was a fluke with a small splitshot above, texas style. 3rd cast, Vina. Hell yea, first fish of the day. 2 more cast got me another vina! Wtf? This is why I fish the fluke so often! Haha then nothing until around 7:30 pm. I Ended up, at crown point after some skunks at numerous spots. Maybe fished crown point two times in the past, but this place gets lit at night. It was worth it in the end. Landed 9 spotties, and 1 halibut to end the night. Nice sesh. I fished crown point yesterday morning and slayed em, went this morning and only got four. Just goes to show how the conditions can change the bass from day to day

I have never caught one, so if the fish falls to the sand it's a dead fish they're that fragile?
    That adds to the pressure

About the only way to really release a corv with expectations of having it survive is to unhook the thing in the water..
