I typically just get the one day one for whatever boat I ride but if you go more than 4 trips a year or have friend with a private boat, it's better to just get a yearly Mexican license.

Most of the SD landing can sell them for about $60 USD.

However, if you go to this website: https://www.sportfishingbcs.gob.mx/ the license at cost is $41.16. You just input your info online, pay and then print. Has anyone used this site before? I just want to know if it's legit or not. it looks like it belong to the Mexican Government but I wanted to verify that first. Basically, it saves you a trip to the landings and 20 bucks.

Also, it's $5 cheaper than the San Diego CONAPESCA office in Downtown. License Application

Good question. I’ve gotten it at Conapesca. I know it’s the cheapest unless you get it in Mexico. One year I bought it at Tiburon’s im San Quintin for a year.....same as Conaspesca....

However, other than official government websites, or offices or Mexico, Squidco is the cheapest of all the landings etc......

I posted this earlier this year:

Folks...FYI to save you some trouble, I’ve called around to see the cost of an Annual Mexican Fishing License. I bought mine at Squidco today. I was just curious if Squidco is still a good deal. As I suspected, Squidco wins.......

    Squidco - $57
    H&M Landing - $60
    Fisherman’s- $64
    Seaforth - $65

FYI - Turners does not carry Mexican Fishing licenses. I suspect the Mexican Consulate or other Government Office will not charge a surcharge. Online may be cheaper if you trust the security of their servers with your info and have the time to wait for it to arrive in the mail.... FYI - the Landings pay $46.40.

Ive used it! It's legit, print it out & good to go!
When you book a trip through the landing tell them you already have a mexi permit & they will adjust pricing.

Nice. Yup, the landings will definitely reduce price if you show them your license. They (boat) usually holds it until the end of the trip coming in.

Don’t forget to get it back!!!!!!!

    Awesome!

Thanks for confirming and saving me a drive and $19! I was afraid the website was a Hoax or that something crazy would happen to my CC.

Squidco was the cheapest aside from Conapesca. The $46.40 is the price you get it from Conaspeca - they are open from 8am to 2pm M-F.

I bought a one day license off that Baja link too. The payment is in pesos so my credit card had a .35 foreign transaction fee.

Other than that, life in the 21st century sure is quick n easy.

Its legit. Print a few copies and get them laminated. Navy Federal will not work on the site but Capital One does for me.

One thing that tripped me out was when I was checking out and it says Confirm Payment $782. I was like wtf and redid the form a bunch of times until I realized they converted it to pesos.
