Late afternoon sesh at mission point. Got there about an hour before sundown and was greeted with some giant schools of chovies. Threw the luckycraft for a couple cudas, no love for the a-rig or coltsniper.
With the bait being pushed in like that I can only imagine what the jetty/ piers are like. I think if someone were to catch a yellowtail from shore now would be a good time to try. Especially after seeing a school of them a couple weeks ago.

Fun stuff. That Lucky Craft has seen some serious action, and or rock rash.

Same thing happened to me on Saturday! I switched to the LC and landed some barracuda, a fat spottie and a 23” vina!
That large school of bait fish was crazy
