Mono county open 5/23!

    For those of us itching to legally fish the eastern Sierras some good news- Mono county board of supervisors requested cadfw open the delayed fishing season effective 5/23 and was approved. No change yet for Inyo, still 6/1. At least it is a step in the right direction.

    Trout season isn't scheduled to open in Inyo until Monday June 1.
    Never mind, act like you didn't hear that. From what I've heard everyone including locals are doing what ever they want up there anyway.
