I've been fishing all 3 the last 4 days, all so fun, all so different! A week ago, I was fishing Crowley at 25 feet down, yesterday I was sight casting to trout rolling on the surface! The fish moved big time into the weed beds in the north arm..although the guides and shop dudes still aren't up there! I still have the whole north half of the lake to myself. Once you hook a fish between the weed lines, good freakin luck getting them out. I broke off some fish I really wanted! Ended up getting some nice bows, browns, and some cutties! Got almost all fish on Hornbergs! Fished George a couple times, the first day I only threw drys, mostly BWOs. Probably got 25 fish, mostly 7"-12"..2 at 14". The second time on George, wind shifted, fish had no real interest in drys, so I shifted to strippin steamers, olive manuka and sheep creeks...ended up with probably 12, stocker clones! Finished today on Hot creek, threw hoppers all afternoon! Hooked into some nice browns, still can't figure out how to get them from one side of the creek to my net. The summer weeds are in full bloom up to the surface in many places. I got 7 fish to net, there's some really healthy browns in the creek this year..just not in my net! A super challenging creek this time of year..they love their hoppers Screenshot_20190824-193621_Photos.jpg though! 20190823_104147.jpg 20190823_141340.jpg 20190823_141134.jpg 20190823_142612.jpg 20190821_134959.jpg 20190823_100025.jpg 20190824_165601.jpg 20190824_165534.jpg Screenshot_20190824-193621_Photos.jpg 20190823_104147.jpg 20190823_141340.jpg 20190823_141134.jpg 20190823_142612.jpg 20190821_134959.jpg 20190823_100025.jpg 20190824_165601.jpg 20190824_165534.jpg

Those fish were worth seeing twice! Are fish 2 and 3 Cutthroats? Is there a Brook in the mix? (little Trout knowledge have I)

2 & 3 do appear to be cuts. The rest are browns, except for fish #5, which is a 'bow.

Yep, cutties! It's amazing how different the coloring is in the browns, depending on where you're fishing! Even the browns in Crowley vary quite a bit!
