Well this keeps popping up on my browser on SDFISH. Gotta admit, I'm tempted.

I've got family in Tucson and make regular trips through IV. Where is your sticky? I couldn't find the catfish section in the freshwater thread.

    Thanks for the pictures.

There's a story in the Union Tribune biz section about tolparisol ...a non-opioid med for back spasms....being developed by a local company. Maybe there's a clinical trial you could get in on? Google union-tribune non-opioid back spasm to see more....i am out of free article views on the u-t website....

    Placebo AddiCKt....

Sorry about your back, Coach. Was hoping to catch up with you guys but we didn't make it our until about 6pm Saturday. Spent a very pleasant night under the stars and had some fun. A few good fish in the cooler for dinner this weekend. Loving the action out there in the IV!

I've only just started exploring that place but I could show you a couple spots and some of the technique if you want to make a run out there sometime.

Man, we got pounded last night. 1/2” to 5” depending on what part of the IV. Thunder, lightning, and hail in some areas. Roads are going to be really sloppy for the next few days. I pulled a couple from Mecca out of the mud this morning that pulled off a paved road. to fish a canal. Glamis was flooded. I drove out there today just to see. I’ve never seen washes that cut though the sand dunes before.. Numerous small lakes of standing water in the dunes and steep slopes sloughed off from the weight of the water.

Now my back is out Werfless and it’s your fault. All this talk about bad backs. I was using my backhoe and got the bucket plugged with pure clay that wouldn’t come out. Hurt my back while digging the clay out a gob at a time.:emoji_slight_frown:

If you're going to go down, IV clay would be a good way to go about it.. rest up man.. was wondering how much of that drizzle we got last night got generated in the IV...

Mogambo would you say the roads are too bad to bother going? I had plans to go with a buddy tomorrow.

No, most of the sandy dirt roads are passable. Just don’t pull off in the barrow pit. As an extra note a lot of flash flood water washed into the Westside Main. It and all the canals it feeds looks like a butterscotch milkshake. Stick to the All American Canal, Central Main and East Highline and all the canals fed by those three main canals.
