Went to Murray because it was the closest open lake and I needed to wet the line.Almost decided not to go but changed my mind at the last minute and decided what to I have to lose?
I always go to Murray with low expectations.Sorrry to the Murray faithful that I feel that way but it's the way just things are.
I'm glad that I did go though. The fishing was not bad at all for Murray in my opinion.Got into a little action on my favorite drop shot worm. This time of year I feel that the sunny spots hold more fish rather than the shady spots especially added with submerged bushes, stick ups and rocks. Slow the baits down try not to move baits around so much and they will come every so often if you have patience and don't leave fish to find fish.
Nothing real big but some healthy barely legal that are eating well.

7 fish at Murray? This time of year? I'd say that's pretty epic! (Unless you're VinnyBass)

Nice job fishindad. Have not been out there for a bit. Always fun to pull in bass in January. The water temp the last time I was there was not that cold for this time of the year. Looks like you had fun! (Pics #1 & #5 are the same or I am going blind?) It’s always great to see pics of bass and thanks for sharing your day and posting a report.
    Tight lines always. :)
