Murray no bass but nice bluegill bite

    Went to Murray this morning and spent a couple hours throwing a double fluke rig and some robo works and couldn't get a bass to hit anything so went to the drop shot and caught 7 pretty decent bluegill. Better than a skunk. Released all of them but had a nice morning. Hope all of y'all did better IMG_20190508_081901.jpg

    way to give it a go... IMO it's just a little early for the donkey rig flukes. I like to throw these after we've had stable weather of warm days

    I agree with you on it being a little early, but the damn rig looks so good in the water I would bite it. And I like to throw things that I haven’t had a lot of luck with so it made for a fun morning
