Mid morning on the drop shot not too bad this morning
I tried to upload a photo but it wouldn't let me sorry guys
Is anybody else having problems with the server saying the upload is too large with just one damn photo?
Yep.. Even my screenshots are too big
Thanks I thought it was my phone
Nope, we wish
You know it’s crazy I’m at work and I tried to upload a photo of a Murray bass from my phone to put on the site for you as an illustration just so people could see what you might’ve caught and it won’t even let me do it. Said it was too large of a file.
You need pictures of smaller bass.
Funny, I said almost the exact thing in the lounge... but I beat you by 16 minutes!
Anyway all I was really going to say is the dropshot worked well mid morning yesterday. And hope all of y'all have a great 4th of July
Open a Photobucket account and then copy your photos to this website. Evidently, the owner of thiswe site doesn't want to pay for a plan that includes huge amounts of bandwidth and storage. I am on another forum (a Dual Sport website), where we don't allow any uploads at all. All pictures have to come from a hosting website.
That is the way I used to post. Then Photobucket quit allowing it. Have things changed again?
They haven't. Last I heard they were charging some big cash...
I never had a problem. I have a paid account though. Maybe things are different if you have a free account.
i went to Murray Sunday early morning.. drop shotted mostly.. not great.. only got 1 10" LMB. my first x there.. i like that there's no skiing etc.. but the areas i fished along the tules, rocks etc were mostly pretty shallow.. wud be nice to have a depth finder and i should have hit points more but it was kind of crowded being a weekend (and lots of shore fisherman/women so that limited spots as well)
That my friend is lake Murray
I was a Murray last week just messing around dropshotting for bluegill . I caught and released two that were about palm sized and then got another about the same time. I was reeling it in when two huge bass came in after it. The larger one hit it like a train and made a run with it and the other one was trying to take it away. It was on light gear but was the largest, strongest bass I’ve ever had on a line and I was lucky enough that he didn’t let go for over a minute. A fantastic fight and even though I didn’t do anything really to get the bite it was for me the high lite of this year so far. Believe me there are some damn big bass in Murray. That was a day I should have been throwing a bluegill swim bait. True story and a damn fine morning. Oh and the damn bluegill was still ok when I got it in and lived to fight another day. Amazed it didn’t have heart failure.
