If you get a chance check out this weeks WON mag. I have an article in this weeks addition on open water breakers.

The asked me if I would help out SD fishermen on the mind set and techiques used to increase their cast to catch ratio.

It was a great time working on this with them.

Well.... Not thinking thats something in anyones future... hahaha... I can barely spell my name as it is.... Too funny.

On a serious side. I’ve always thought giving a bit of information is a good thing.

    The fishermen who feel,

“why do you tell people this stuff, make them learn it by themselves like we did”

My answer, You never learned anything by yourself. Nothing. At some point you watched, listened, read and that drove you to want to try it. Or you were taught how to do it. You never learned it by yourself.

No one woke up one day and just like that was killer at tossing top water. Haha...

Its what you do with that information that separates it from reading and forgetting or reading and giving it a shot. I read so many articles on fishing.. many go over the same techniques I have read about before yet maybe there is a twist on it so I’ll take 5 min and read it. Or its something I quit thinking about and the article reminded me again.

We all learned from someone or something. We never learned it by ourselves.

Makes me think of the good old days at San V. Late 90s and early 2000s. Breakers for days, willing to bite wide open.
    Congrats on the article!!
