Hit Beacons this morning around 10am. Was like fishing in a washing machine full of salad. Started with the LC minnow, switched to gulp mullet, and finally gave up after pulling up lettuce on every cast.

Thanks for the report, man. I was just sitting here at work wondering how the fishing was. Looks like the wind is picking up now and tide outgoing, so looks like I'll just be heading home after work. Waiting for better conditions.

I fished yesterday with the same results......plus the sand crabs were all pin heads.

Fished M/T/W as well. Not a good week this week. Salad isn’t super terrible but just enough to foul the hooks and lures every cast.

I went out again today. Beacons had the same washing machine conditions with lots of spring break surfers so I went up to Tamarack. The conditions and crowd were much more favorable but I still came up empty. I started with the gulp mullet and switched to a sand worm after a while. I only dug briefly but I found no sand crabs.

I’m considering going out tomorrow since low tide is around 1030am, just debating which beach or lagoon. Trying to end the week with something decent. Or there’s golf. Decisions...

Difficult to find structure at north Ponto this afternoon. Current pretty strong. Some light eel grass but not too bad.
Good luck if you get out.

South Ponto was a mess from construction dumps. Maybe K-Bo can give us a recent update. That’s his stomping ground.
North Ponto was difficult to locate any structure for me on Thursday, and I covered quite a bit of ground.
South of Army-Navy had some decent structure last weekend with points, holes, and a few troughs.
Good luck and let us know what’s up if you go.

Conditions were (are) terrible. Heavy current running N to S, thick salad, no rips. I slugged it out sunrise to about 9:30. LC fouled out on almost every cast. Switched to a fish finder rig for the last hour hoping to find some YFC or SFC - nada. I suspect harvest from the surf will be light this weekend.

S Ponto is good to go again. The fill has stabilize and other than the change in beach color, I would say everything is back to normal.
