Caught this 6 pound 26-1/2” Covina this morning using LC 110 flash minnow on 10lb test. Planning on eating it later tonight.
I caught the Hali last weekend he was 22-1/2” I threw it back. The reason I threw him back was, I caught him on my third cast of the morning and he was kind of skinny. No to mention I thought it would give me some cosmic karma and the fish gods would let me catch one 10x its size or a 30lb stripper that same day. Who knows what I would have done if I caught it on my third to last cast of the day.
Is was caught on LC 110 mackerel. Same 10lb test.

Chuck Taylor is my hero! I've got 8 flavors of LC110 in my pack...just don't have the determination to tie them on and fight the salad. Nice fish!!

Inline hooks will not eliminate the problem but can make a quite a difference

You need something like 9'. I use shimano dialuna, 10'6" medium heavy. I can cast far out.
