High tide was 730pm. Wanted to grab mussels from the jetty but the tide was coming in and I didn’t want to get soaked so out came the gulp crack on a Carolina rig. 1/4 oz egg sinker on a ultra light with 8 pound main line.
Nine croaker and 5 perch. Darn fun on light line. The croaker were way past the white wash. Didn’t see and sand crabs but I didn’t need them. Salad wasn’t bad at all. All fish released to fight another day.

Very nice session; those YF's put up a good fight, fun indeed to catch.

I've done it before I knew about the law but according to IB municipal code you're not allowed to removed mussels from their jetties. Something related to the mussels helping to protect the integrity of the jetty I think.
