Idk if you guys getting tired of this yet. but here's another jetty report.
My friend started us off with first catch around 7am just after sunrise with a nice sculpin. I found a hole with all kinds of fish inside. Not as much action as previous trip but still got a lot of variety. Used primarily shrimp but also caught a couple on mackerel.

So cool that you can just drop a bait in between the rocks like that and get such a variety

Can you eat the rockfish when you catch it on the jetty?

Yea, I believe so at least according to the regs. If you're talking about whether they clean enough to eat ... your guess is as good as mine. Haven't tried them myself yet since they usually on the smaller side. But we usually catch at least 1 each time.
If you want fish to keep there's an abundance of half moon and opal eye. Those are pretty decent tasting and they're way easier to catch
