Not Again!

    Looks like this time the operative word is "not." A couple of weeks ago I posted shots of the same fish caught 11 days apart.

    Here it is on May 2nd.

    That was my last time there until today. I was back at the same spot and thought at first that I might have caught it a third time. But on closer examination, it is close but no cigar. The picture is of a different side of the fish, but you see enough to tell it is not the same fish.

    It's so cool when you can see a fish that's clearly older. Geezer humans and bluegill get huge ears. Fish get kinda tattered fins.
    I caught a grizzled creek bluegill that had beat-up fins, a knottier head than a 300 pound sea lion, a solid blue ear nearly the size of my thumbnail...and an overall length of nearly six inches.
