Not the same in the morning@Murray

    took mom this morning for a half day and then a BBQ. We landed 3 bass zero breakers less about 3 scattered around the lake. We found a ton of bait and lost everything we hooked into out in the middle of the lake. No bait in the coves. Zero.... heading back tomorrow in the afternoon, I bet it will be killer.

    Wow! Sounds like it will be a real challenge as compared to other weeks. The weather is definitely cooler in the morning and I bet the water temp is dropping. I may see you out there Rob....but if it is real bad, I may be gone before you get there in the afternoon.
    Thanks for the update/report..... A fun day on the lake with mom judging by those smiles.

    We had a great time and had chances for a few more. Mom had her suspenders on today acting more like a farmer! Hahaha

    All the ones that come off my spoons and flukes in the morning... Linebig will be hauling in his boat in the afternoon no doubt. :)

    The fish were barely hitting today. They would just hold the shiner. You have the fish, line is coming off the reel and there is weight.... you reel down to set the hook and you feel the hook pull out of the bait.... so bummed.

    Dang.....heck I might have to throw plastic worms and lizards which is not what I want to be doing this time of year when bass have eating up the shad lately. I guess I will play it by ear.

    This afternoon looks just like it has. The wind was blowing hard into san carlos arm. Its bluebird skies exactly how its been... the bait that sits out in the middle gets blown back deep into san carlos and then the fish go off..
