You, sir. are unique in that regard! Never heard of anyone else doing that! I would be interested to know how you hold a spinning reel!

Only one particular reel breaks like that. I have several others that have never broke. I have broke 8 of them! They no longer carry the base anywhere. Too bad, it was an easy fix. and I liked those reels.

So, you just replace it! I saw a video of a guy trying to glue it back together with fiberglass! Was not pretty!

Maybe we should open a Go Fund Me page for him so he can buy a new reel?
I had one of my bait casters lock up on me while fighting a fish. I got it fixed but never had the trust I had with it before. Last thing I wanted was to have the fish of my life on and being worried about my reel.
Cant wait to get out this season.

My mom would use her pole like that, drove me crazy. Spent my whole life with her trying to get her to change, but nope she wouldn't do it!!

I have 3 broken Sedonas sitting on a shelf at home! All snapped on hookset acting like Bill Dance swinging for the fences.

I had a 13 brand baitcaster break off at the base. They look super cool, cast really far, and are the most Chinese reel I’ve ever had. Shipped it back to them 6 months ago to have it fixed and haven’t heard back. I think it’s gone. Hopefully Chinas new carriers and stealth fighters are as cheap as everything else they produce!

    .

Doing better, so now just need to get the boat in for service to make sure everything is good to go. One thing I know I need is new batteries, anyone have a hookup on AGM batteries?
