    First cast.....BAM!! Uh oh!
4 hours later.......Got lucky and found a few in one of my SPOTS! hahaha
Back to back, twice. Plus a couple dinks.
Ended with 7, I think. So I'm happy. GOPR2009.JPG GOPR2019.JPG GOPR2032.JPG GOPR2046.JPG GOPR2054.JPG GOPR2065.JPG this is the shad they were feeding on.

No! Too lazy to tie on anything else. :) Underspin probably would have worked too.
They weren't hitting on top, but just under the surface.
Watched 3 of them fight over my spoon when I let it drop just past the weed line in about 6'. Thought for sure I missed all of them. But alas, got one. :) I think the shine was a key. clone frys didn't work like I thought they would.

I love fishing the zone 4"-6" below the surface...kills them when they don't want to commit to topwater! I never got into the clone fry frenzy...think I could out fish them with baby sluggos!
