How can you be sad........you’re retiring.
Maybe you could now do a weekly report like JJ?...or worst case scenario...updates on your koi pond. :)

yes sir. last time it was this high, i tore em up in the back waters behind the tulles. this year, not one bite. there was more open space then. now it's wall to wall tulles. and again, the lay down tulles make it hard to get a natural bait presentation. and so much area.
i got seriously stuck back there twice.

Its a pain in the *** back there at times. I have taken my boat into some very sticky situations. I have a paddle and I use it to move tulles and brush. I use the side of the boat as leverage and Keep the troller on high. I have some seriously deep scratches now from this past couple weeks. However its been fun. I love that type fishing. Haha. Still its not for everyone.

Gotta love jungle fishing, I do. It's times like this I wish I had a smaller boat to get into some of these areas.

I go where I should never go. I risk a lot all for the sake of a green back fish. Its that first pass through thats dangerous. Once through and hopefully you can turn around its easier the next time. Its all about being able to turn around. Many times it just too narrow and too thick to have the back of the boat be able to get through in reverse.
