Well, sort of. Got out there pretty late with my friend and my son and tried senkos up tight and drop shot a little out. I started throwing a big savage rat wake bait because, well I love throwing big stuff. All of a sudden I get blown up on. Yah, it’s a pig, what else would touch this thing.?Nope, 2 3/4 lbr. Goes to show how aggressive they can be. That was really all the action we had. I did get one hooked up on the frog but he wrapped me up and got off. Didn’t stay out too late with the kids. Probably a much better bite early and just before dark, but I figured I’d get out while I can. Besides, time on the water with my kids is something I never regret.

Well done Transplant!! Time with family is always priceless!!!

As I get older, and spend more time around my granddaughters, I look forward to any opportunity to enjoy any outdoor adventure. Fishing is planned for the summer!
