Started off and there was a lot of suspended and floating grass. Bad conditions for hardbait. Seen a lot of bait action and even a couple of blowups. I kept getting grass every cast. Literally I said fuk it I’m leaving as I’m kinda burning it in because I had a piece of eelgrass and I get bit about 20ft in front of me. It shines at me and does a tail flick and rips the most drag ive ever had a corvina do probably almost 100ft. Lots of headshakes and the swims parallel with the shoreline and picks up a to of eelgrass. Had to get it off ythen I was finally able to guide it into a rock wedge. Snapped a couple pics and released her. “See my Cyborgstarfish on Instagram for video”

Previous Pb was 26 on live bait.
    Only one corvina. Bite stopped.

Rare enough due to its size, cool enough, and definitely pretty enough to have a mount done if you can make it happen. Lyons & O haver Taxidermy? Roberts Fish Mounts?

Steve, from reading / poking through the archives, I’ve seen bay Corvina in the 8-10 lb class. They do get quite a bit bigger here. Look at 2010-2013 archives and scroll the bay section, along with private boat section. Check, Paul the great posts. Check anything that has more than 6-10 comments. Usually a hot post... more than 20 comments and it gets comical for sure. Fun reading if you have the time. Educational as well...
