I walk up on fish. They're hangin out between some rocks. I can see 2 big girls and male, but I can't see them very well. I swim the Mattgilly up to the pocket and let it fall in. All I can see is green and white chaos. I may have gotten bit? I throw it back and same the same thing happens. I figured I would throw the white TJW in, and hopefully I'd be able to see what's going on. Check the line. Check the hook. All good, throw it in. It gets HAMBONED on the sink just after I loose sight of it. I'm thinking OK, that had to be the male, and I started crawling the jig up the rock and into view. Suddenly I see this giant mouth following my jig and snapping at it as I crawled it out of the dark pit. OMG!!!!! It's the big one biting me!!! I throw it back in and it gets slammed again!! Swing and a miss. Keep in mind,...I can't see what's goin on down there. Another cast, another hard hit, and another miss. Another cast, another hard hit, and another miss. Another cast, BAM!! FISH ON!!! Got the full show, drag ripping, jumping, thrashing the surface, freaking out. I'm cussin and praying and chanting and running down the bank....Got her in my hand. Got the weight. Got the picture. Got the healthy release. Got the new PB. After 999 failures at trying to get a big bed fish to bite, I finally win one.

Bonus pic……My classroom is cooler than yours.

Nice job. Good looking fish too. The jig hasn't been as kind to me as of late.

    Great report nice action.

Hey did you make that mold yourself? If so, that's better than the ones from Del-Mart Molds.
