Gonna get back into bass fishing after 3 year hiatus....trying out new props for my boat but I think I might need to raise motor maybe 1 hole on the transom...not sure yet. Anyone here SKILLED in doing this CORRECTLY while resealing the bolt holes? Not looking for guys who "saw it on youtube once"....let me know if this might be you or you know someone who can. Thanks.

I would think that any boat sales / service outfit could do the job . In general if you take a straight edge and put it flat on the bottom /Keel ,the cavitation plate should be on that plane if it is not adjustment may be needed . I am sure there are some racers and engineers that may have a different Idea . Good luck with the project . WR

I had a 14’ Valco John boat that I hunted ducks in down in Mexico, I put a 1” piece of oak wood to raise the motor, it did wonders. Ran faster and got into shallow water better and upon plane faster
