Crazy stuff. Heck I finally got old enough to pay $4 for a senior permit and a boat launch is $7 so it only $11 total.
The new rate will cost me $17 to do the same to be able to fish out of my boat.
I pay $6 to fish out of my kayak($4 permit and $2 for the kayak) and it will be going up to freaking $12 just to fish out of my kayak. It affects everyone, so I am just venting, but a dollar or two increase is fine...but...........of heck... all I can do is just complain and later tell people about the good old days when it cost less to enjoy a day of fishing...ha ha

17 for me to fish, too much for seniors. The launch fee is too high. Free to walk or ride a bicycle around the lake. =^..^=

$11 per day to fish from shore, too much for me. I'll stick to the salt.

11 dollars per day for senior to fish from shore, plus a license? Too much from me. I'll stick to saltwater.

Makes about as much sense as this retarded fee us boat owners have to pay for this stupid quagga mussel BS!
They say it's for quagga mussel research.
I say they be lining their pockets with our hard earned money.
Just like how the saltwater rockfish depth limits are extended to 600 feet instead of 320 feet.
Then take the daily limit of red vermilion down to 4 and take the daily limit of 10 chucklehead all the way to 1!!!!
Would have made more sense to not extend the depths too 600 feet, but reduce it to maybe 250 feet.
This state is run by usless incompetent fools!!!!

I remember the lakes were open 3 days, the weekend and one during the work week. Depends on which Lake, Otay was Wednesday and Miramar Tuesday. =^..^=

Nobody likes paying more for fishing, but nosebleed seats at Petco are going for $60 a pop! That will set a family back!

Would love that option, but salt is 30 miles away. Pulling my boat my truck gets about 10 mpg. That is about $36 in gas just for the truck. My boat would use another $20 worth! Fresh looks pretty good, even with the increase.
