What do you use to protect your motor and transom when traveling?
I've Googled M-Y WEDGE and thinking about getting a set.

I have a friend that has something similar like in this pic lnhua-4.jpg
and you can still see the powerhead rock fore & aft on rough freeways, to me it takes the load off of the hydraulic trim but still supported by the transom. It does lock the steering in place though.

I use a transom saver, I like it better because it transfers the fore & aft rocking motion to the trailer and not solely on the transom. I use a bungee on my steering wheel to keep it centered so it does not **** to the side on a long trip. Pics are not mine, I just found it quick to show you.

I've seen that type on the web, also the ones that go on the hydraulic lifts. I'm leaning towards the hydraulic lift support from what I've read on the web.
I'm just looking for more feedback from people here.
Thanks for responding. Stay cool today and out of the heat if you can.

Don't know if you ever found a solution, but I'm using the M-Y Wedge (single ram PT&T, Mercury OptiMax 125) and I love it.

Thanks, I haven't bought one yet but I like the M-Y Wedge. That's one I will get. Do they sell them in SD?

The big and ugly transom saver that supports on the trailer, it's the only one you want
