public docks?

    I finally caught my first spottie today and I see why people like to catch em. Anyone know of some docks I can go on. San Diego bay it mission bay I don’t care.

    There are no "public" docks.. there are a bunch you can slip onto, make a few casts and step off of though.. if you are discreet and polite

    Even if the gate is open, there is nothing saying you aren't trespassing, keep that in mind

    Listen to Werfless. Docks are private property, gate or no gate, unless given permission you are trespassing.

    Aren’t there a couple private docks that are open to the public during daylight hours at shelter island? I remember seeing something on the news a lil while ago about how the water commission wants to tear them down.
