I know this isn't a SD lake, but I have a feeling there are guys not in SD like me that read this board. That being said - as has been typical for me, this isn't much of a report.

Fished from about 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and not a single bite. Tons and tons of kayakers, float tubers, boaters and kick boaters out there Sunday and I didn't see any of them catch a bass. Everyone I talked to had been skunked.

Huge algae bloom and lots of boat traffic probably didn't help matters. What's strange is I didn't see any bass shallow at all. Saw one dead floater and that was the extent of it.

I was out in my kayak and I have yet to catch a bass this year. Very frustrating. To make things worse, I lost a couple of LV 500's.

Weather was great and it was nice to get some exercise, but not catching just isn't much fun.

I hope to hit up Perris in a couple weeks.

Hey, thanks for the report. I am the same, not in SD but watch this board. The Pudd is a weird place, it has all the elements and I have seen people catch good bass there but I always get skunked.

Is the water still up to the tables and benches?

We appreciate these reports from up north. That lake can be very tough.

It's pretty full... I don't know about the tables and benches though.

It’s not up to the tables anymore. I went a couple times last week during my spring break and caught one on the drop shot one day and worked a bed fish for an hour and a half before catching it on a BBZ swimbait. Surprises me you didn’t see any as I saw tons of bass swimming shallow. Maybe it was all the boat traffic and pleasure boaters that ruined that bite for you. I went during the week so the water traffic was very light.

P.S. this lake kicks my butt during the winter.
