Quick rod holder build

Less than $35 in material. Three rod holder and nylon straps from Big5, pvc pieces and cement from Home Depot. Still need to attach the bottom piece that will have a pool noodle around it for a little outrigger style. I will probably end up making modifications down the road, but this gets me in and out of the water a lot easier without having to juggle three rods.

    That will work, But too complicated IMO. Here is mine:

    Velcro straps hold it to the D-rings, and a bungee goes under to the D-ring on the other side. Allows me to carry 5 rods. The white tube is for my transducer which can be lowered below the tube level or raised for beaching. All the holders are attached to a 1/2" rectangular PVC frame using sheet metal screws. Notice the holes are taped up where the screws went through. Caps on the bottom keep rod butts dry. About $20.
