Rainy Day Lure Making

    I've been thinking about doing this for months. So I dug out my fly tying kit and painted up some jig heads to try my hand at Bucktail and Feather jigs. I still need practice but I think they turned out OK. Can't wait to fish them.

    Pretty nice! That first one will be your best bet in the bay. A strip of squid will make it killer.

    second to last is looks nice. Might want to try putting the red lowernot on top. you should catch on them. good job.

    Thanks guys. I'm tying more tonight. I never thought it would be so much fun.

    Scott, those are sweet looking. I really need to get a Flyrod for Christmas lol.

    nice! Don't you love how rainy day's get the creative juices flowing? I played video games for 9 straight hours on Saturday instead of cleaning the garage and fiddling with fishing stuff...lol
