    This guy ate a soft shell at low tide. Funny thing is, it hit hard and took line right away like a guitarfish. Lucky for me I didn't horse him in. A quick photo and he swam away strong. Not as big as the SD 20+ inches I see photos of, but a good fish for RAT.

    I’d think a 20” corb would be darn good one anywhere.

    18" is a good size one . . . nothing wrong with that. Soft shells are candy for the bigger corbina & croaker.
