Ready for bay a kayak

    So i was posted here a couple days ago, finally I got my rood rack on my car, Sunday finally I'm going to see a couple kayak used, the first will be a Malibu pro explorer 12 ft
    Sun dolphin pro explorer ft
    Lifetime pro angler 10 ft
    I'm so excited for go out and fish so what you guys think , anyone have any experience whit this kayak?? I will fish on bay ( shelter hisland) I'm not looking to go for expensive kayak since for me will be ok just go around bay,,,, I'm 5,7 210 pounds,,,,

    Think that Hobie should be fine.. and hold value better than the others. HMU for Intel when you are ready to tackle the mission Bay jetties..

    I like also,,, and looks also stable,,, I don't know why so many peaple say the sun dolphin is a.bad yak,,,,

    Well, generally speaking, a ten foot doesn't track near as well as a twelve, a twelve to a fourteen, fourteen to a sixteen... things like rudders, stabilizers etc do change this some, but, as a general rule, it seems fairly true

    Thanks, the sun dolphin I'm looking is 12 foot longer, and 34 wide I think,,, you think will be ok

    Hard to say how you will fit the yak unless you spend time paddling one around prior to buying.. one way to find out...

    the sun dolphin boss 12 will be fine for what you want
    but it isn't a hobie big quality difference
    a ford focus will get you where you want to go but it's not a ferrarii
