    Have a few hours to kill down in SD next Wednesday early afternoon. Would like to target sharks or rays or maybe bonitos if there biting. Any suggestions where to wet a line? Cheers!

    You’re about a month and a half early for some really good S and R fishing. Haven’t fished the bays for a month. If I had to guess, south shores and fisherman’s channel are probably the best spot right now. Again that’s just me predicting.

    I would just hit the main channel in SD Bay.. rocks are a nuisance, but the fish are there

    Thanks for the response boys, I’ll post some pics if I make it out there. Might change plans and backpack the sierras this week before the freeze comes in. Cheers

    Yep! Spring produces some nice bass around the back side of Fiesta Island. Also some nice croaker and bonefish. TBH Spring is just the best time to fish the bays in my opinion.
