River 10-17

    Little bit of a slow start but ended up wide open on the 10-13” bass. Biggest 2.5 lbs. caught over 75 bass in 9 hours. Only had 6 at 9am. Finished at 5pm. Water temperature came up again 72-74 in most places. At the end of the day 74.6. Lot of fun, caught a few decent fish. Water is cleaning up.

    Lots of quality bluegill too.

    I hope all the fish last. Must of been a hell of a spawn a year or two ago. Man if these fish make it and I think they will. We will have some great fishin for years to come

    In the morning they seem to like white/red the afternoon chartreuse Real simple fly tungsten head with a jig style hook. About 2.5 to 3.5” long craft fur no flash. This morning I had to tie more chartreuse and I added a little flash didn’t seem to help when it was slow then it didn’t matter after 10 am
