Your view is one-sided and incorrect. Both politician and voters are guilty by voluntarily participating in a political system that is inherently bad. Corruption, bureaucracy, hypocrisy, lies, etc. are natural results from a system pretending that elected politicians care more for the common good of the public than for their re-election and continuing careers as professional politicians.

From http://beyonddemocracy.net/beyond-democracy-first-chapter-2012-jan.pdf (I challenge you reading the whole chapter)
    "Democracy = collectivism
Yet this is precisely what we will do in this book: speak out against the God of democracy, especially national parliamentary democracy. The democratic decision-making model is useful in some contexts, in small communities or within associations. But a national parliamentary democracy, which almost all western countries have, has far more drawbacks than advantages.Parliamentary democracy, we argue, is unjust, leads to bureaucracy and stagnation, undermines freedom, independence and enterprise, and inevitably leads to antagonism, meddling, lethargy and overspending. And not because certain politicians fail in their job –or because the wrong party is in charge – but because that’s how the system work.
The hallmark of democracy is that ‘the people’ decide how society should be organized. In other words, all of us ‘together’ decide on everything that concerns us. How high taxes should be, how much money needs to be spent on child care and on the elderly, at what age people are allowed to drink alcoholic beverages, how much employers must pay for the pensions of their employees, what should be put on a product label, what children must learn at school, how much money should be spent on development aid or on renewable energy or on sports education or on orchestras, how a bar owner should run his bar and whether his guests are allowed to smoke, how a house should be built, how high interest rates should be, how much money needs to circulate in the economy, whether banks should be rescued with taxpayers’ money if they threaten to go bankrupt, who is allowed to call himself a physician, who is allowed to start a hospital, whether people are allowed to die when they are tired of life, and if and when the nation is at war. In a democracy, ‘the people’ are expected to decide on all these matters - and thousands of others. Thus, democracy is by definition a collectivist system. It’s socialism through the backdoor. The basic idea behind it is that it is desirable and right that all important decisions about the physical, social and economic organization of society are taken by the collective, the people. And the people authorize their representatives in parliament – in other words, the State – to take these decisions for them. In other words, in a democracy the whole fabric of society is geared towards the State. That freedom is not the same as democracy is not hard to see.Consider this: do we decide democratically how much money everyone should spend on clothes?"

and the whole little book Beyond democracy

I understood your statement the first time.

Based on this logic you're saying that Feinstein and Harris's Senate Representation in CA is the fault of our GOP Voters ?...

The USA is bigger than California. I am saying the rest of the US who didn’t vote or voted Republican should have voted Democrat if they wanted to replace the Supreme Court justices with liberal ones.

So I thought Ginsburg was a sweet little old lefty. Did some good things....Right?

I was listening to the extreme left KPFK radio station this morning.
Turns out she was mildly self serving.

With her health declining, why did she not resign during Obama’s residency and give the new justice pick to the dems?

Well, as most thought, Clinton was a shoe in for the presidency.
She stayed on specifically so that the first woman President could select a new justice, most likely a female. For the sake of a historical moment she stayed on, despite failing health.

So, the Left should have just tried harder ?...

The Senate as I'm sure you're aware, is an aggregation of each state's representation. I shifted the focal point to CA, relating your viewpoint to that of our fellow loungers. Apparently we didn't try hard enough to vote out Feinstein and Harris.

This statement will become very interesting come early November; just in case the Senate in whole takes on a Bluer hue...

How? As I've heard, up to one third of all welfare recipients live in CA, mostly along the coast, mostly near to LA and SF. When your SS paycheck is sure to come no matter where do you move, why stay under the gray sky, why not try California Dreamin' and go live in LA or SF, surf any day, try some art/music/dancing gig pretending that you are also working? Who in their right minds would vote against those claiming to give their part of the dole? Add millions illegals and then Socialist Republic of CA will stay blue forever... or until a very major collapse, no, not along the San Andreas Fault...

"I want you to use my words against me," Graham said at the time. "If there's a Republican president in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say, 'Lindsey Graham said let's let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination.'"

I don't need to read anything. It's pure Party-Line backpedal at it's finest.
This is where INTEGRITY comes into relevance.

Lindsey Graham voiced it "We are setting a precedent here today, Republicans are..."
This is why McConnell has not been so quick to commit.

Sure, a vote will happen 'This Year'.
A vote 'Can Happen' in 43 days...
