One day left in November..and it's freakin 84 degrees on the water! I'm confused, so I know the fish are! I spent the last month trying to fish traditional fall patterns.. looking for topwater, dropshotting deepwater, and even a little half-hearted spoon action! Today, I switched it up, went back to more of a summer pattern of attack! Water temp was in the low 60s, so I went back to focusing on depths of 15'-20'. Water visibility is still around 20', even with some algae forming on the surface. Most my fish came on flylined senkos, with a few of the deeper fish on 4" Robos dropshotted. Fishing weightless senkos in 20' of water is like watching paint dry..worth it when you pickup fish! I was on the water at sunrise, off the water at 1:00. Weather was toasty, no breeze til I got off the water..figures! Finished the day with 8 fish, lost 3(thanks to trees and quaggas)! 20211129_073017.jpg 20211129_092614.jpg 20211129_082315.jpg 20211129_092557.jpg 20211129_070919.jpg 20211129_123832.jpg it's growing...longer at the end of the day...

    Nice job,

I was there after a santa anna period about a month ago. There was a ton of light plant debris in the upper part of the water column , I have never seen a Tacticalbassin' episode for fishing those conditions, so I didn't do too well.

There's some strange algae on the surface that I don't remember seeing before...it's a weird year!!!

Mondays and McFish go together... even in this strange late November weather, you managed to adjust to the strange conditions and catch some bass. It’s been weird at all the lakes lately and maybe I should go back to the summer pattern at Murray... ha ha Glad to see you again pulled some bass out of San V on your favorite fishing day of the week(of course besides Fridays at Sutherland when it’s open). Tight lines always and thanks for posting :)

Not sure I like either direction! I don't know any age that would find pleasure in hiking that beast..especially on a hot day!

The boat ramp at Murray is probably less than 15 steps to the water which is good going up or going down...works for me... :)

Good job finding them mcfish I think we need to get a pool going to supply/support Golf Cart rides from the lake to the parking lot. If that ramp gets any longer we'll need to open the lake an hour earlier and close it an hour later so we have time to climb that slope.

There was a guy doing running repeats up the ramp at Sans Vie. Was not a spring chicken. At the top, he kept yelling "get with the program!". I didn't get too close, of course, but I would say he was in his upper 50's, probably.
I doubt he caught as many bass as McFish did,

I am just fooling around, He wasn't yelling anything. Hats off to him. Gotta be good for the legs.
