As far as I could see bass blowing up micro baits everywhere! At one point we were drifting in the middle of wake city with getting rap blasting!! And fish everywhere- no bites for us. Then over on one of our favorite points, same thing!! Huge boils of big fish- no bites for us. The lake cop stopped to say hi and we talked about what he had seen that morning and he said guys were buying live shiners and still unable to draw a bite.
Line big is right!! Every time boat wakes would drift by, it would start a feeding frenzy.
I’m finally going to set up a ultralight rig(6 or 8 lb) and try and fool those fish. I found these baits online and I’ll try them next weekend. This a picture of what was jumping everywhere when the bass would bust them out of the water. TINY LITTLE fish. They are eating great!(the bass)I’ve never seen so many fish jumping. double skunk

If the bass are eating silversides or small minnows, shad etc......they surely will gobble those cool baits down.
Good luck out there and look forward to a report. :)
Just like a tiny sluggo...the key is how to cast them out with some type of distance. Hopefully the bass will be close to the boat and within reach.

Try those baits on a double rig, it'll help you cast them farther and it really gets them when they get picky.

This is a great way to get em going when they school under bait like that. The double rig kills em
