Live bait at Spanish landing, Harbor Island, or Shelter Island. You’re Welcome.

I like live lizardfish, live croaker or other 'brown' bait.. live mackerel work too.. hoochie rig with a strip bait works, use a foot of chain for weight. I would not use big baits on anything less than 50 lb mono. Sometimes they will pile up on the other side there, south of the jetty where it drops off.. long drifts are your friend for the big butts

Probably loads of soupfin sharks off zuniga right now too if I had to guess. Good eating, but you have to treat them right. There should be loads of wrasse and opaleye on the jetty itself also, both great eating
