Experienced off shore guy & boat owner 25+ years experience. Can roll into SD for a couple days here and there for TY, rocks. Will have gear and tackle with me. Looking for a ride on a 21' + can/will pay fair share of fuel & bait, clean up and cark as needed. Mellow & focused, ready to get it done... N/S, D/F.

PM if you are running short and looking for a seasoned crew member

Thanks for all the responses to the Apr. trip

Yeah one would think so. I have ads on BD, Arima owners and Icryfish and a couple others. Nada yet. It's tough when you got no local street cred. Now if one can believe NOAA, windytv, fishweather etc. it looks like the back half of next week it is going to blow up on the outside outside anyway. I may have settle for pounding the spotties on H.I. or M.B. w/ swim baits hoping for a hali to jump my stuff. Or hit the grunion run on 4/16 at OB or MB and go from there. Any way it works out I am prepared.

Jump on The Dolphin 1/2 day & call it done. If it's good, you can re-ride for 1/2 price...
Least you'll get some action, a huge platform, light loads during the week, & all you can eat burgers...

1/2, 3/4 (now full day...lol) are my backups. I would rather give back to a local sport fisher with a possible invite to the PWN for a full day mixed bag or albie trip as it heats up later on in my hood.

Yep.... if the weather holds the pm tides are looking very good. Now, I have been known to sit or stand in the middle of the launch ramp at SI or DL with all my gear and a sign soliciting for fishtatution. And sometimes it has worked. And then there were others that have just tossed coins or hurled insults.

Forget about SI, it's under construction.. Dana is the place to be.. I have stood with a sign too, 100$, two burritos, and a 12 pack can do wonders

This all brings up a question:

If the boat ho’ is busted during a stop for not having required license, endorsements, or what have you, does the cap’n bear any responsibility for that?

I would assume that if you were to pickup a boat ho’ at the ramp you would be suspicious enough to check it before hand. At least I would personally
