Got 2 more today. One around 50 inch's and one around 60. Good fun. One caught on jack mackerel chunk one on salema head. Guess leopards aren't as picky as I thought lol. Fk smelts tho they suck lmao. Also put my mom on a shark as her first fish ever she was pretty stoked haha

Nice shark. I usually end up catching big thornbacks on smelt when im trying to catch halibut.

Nice nice, heard thornback taste pretty good too. Just haven't had any success with smelt for sharks so haha just kinda gave up on them. But hey, salema r pretty abundant and works pretty well

Nice session! I've never had any success with salem's so I always toss them back. Same deal with smelt. It's shark time with the cooler water temps.

Ya I feel u dude. I didn't think too highly of salemas myself but after 2 60inch leopards and 1 54 inch guitarfish I'm starting to have different opinions

I didn't know they had teeth like that. I always told people they don't have teeth but can crush the bait/fish/crabs.

they aren’t known to bite but get your fingers or hands stuck in there and they’ll shred it pretty good.

Just waiting for the water to clean up some more and then I'm gonna start hitting the surf as it's shark time. I have some decent spots.
