This is one I should be able to make. Got my license. So I guess I'm in. I was looking at my tackle and I can't remember the best hook size for bass. Was it a six? I better practice my knots again too. (Like that helps when you can't see it)

Are you using cut bait or are you going to be using plastics? Cut bait, for bass I’d say #2, maybe #4 depending on what the bait is. Plastics, 1/0 or 2/0 jigheads or ewg style hooks for texas rig. Plenty of youtube vids can help you refresh your memory with knot tying.

I'll probably try both. Thanks for the reminder on hooks. I've got plenty of jig heads I'll just get some hooks for bait. Going to Zion for some shrimp or macs maybe. Hope the weather clears by then. We are expecting snow for the next few days. Supposed to be heavy on 8. I'll cross my fingers.

The weather is supposed to clear up after tomorrow. By Saturday the wind and rain should be gone, and temps should be going back up.
Download the Windy app to your phone, it is amazing, shows all weather conditions, including water temps and wind speeds/gusts. Great app for fisherman/outdoorsy people.

I'll give it a try. I'm a long way out so the weather here and there varies so much. Sometimes the fog is enough to keep me on the mountain. I could get through it but it's the other people on the road I don't trust. Snow hasn't showed up here but they are saying 8 got a pretty good dose and it's supposed to continue there.
