Shore Pounders fall series session 3

    Night time session, Saturday October 3rd, from 6pm-10pm. We meet up at Ski Beach just north of the boat launch.

    I’ll start signing people in at 5:30pm at the yellow spot on the map. After signing in you will be given a tag and you can go fish wherever you wish, then we will meet back up at the meeting spot at 10pm. You do not have to show up if you are not in the running for the biggest bass of the session, and I will let you know your standing as the night goes on.

    No hali contest. You can fish anywhere, not just the island. You can go where there are little to no dogs, or nothing but dogs. If you choose to fish sketchy areas at night, have a friend or two along. Better safe than sorry.

    Also, there was a typo on my part in the original post, it said Saturday the 4th. Already changed it to say Saturday the 3rd. Hope that doesn’t ruin anyone’s plans.

    Sounds like fun! I just got a baitcaster so night fishing should be a challenge, to say the least. I can’t do any worse than last time so fixing backlashes will give me something to do!

    Keep the brake nice and tight or cast with your thumb resting on the spool. The best of us will bird nest with everything dialed in.

    I am definitely bringing the spinning rod as well seeing as I just respooled the bait caster after the last SP that nest was BAD!
